Responsibilities
- Manage weekend warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 weekend staff members, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend workflow efficiency
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to senior management
- Prepare detailed weekend performance reports for Monday morning leadership review
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication between weekend and weekday teams
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics/supervisory roles
- Proven ability to manage teams in weekend/holiday shift environments
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
