Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Perform EKG monitoring and phlebotomy procedures as needed
- Respond to patient call bells and address immediate care requirements
- Collaborate with RNs to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or PCT certification preferred
- Previous healthcare experience in acute care setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient conditions
