Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during night hours
Qualifications
- Georgia CNA certification required (or equivalent medical certification)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities in high-stress scenarios
- Flexibility to work every weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun nights)
- Pass background check and drug screening
