Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations in EMR systems
- Assist with daily hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
- Coordinate with night shift RNs for care plan implementation
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Stock supplies and ensure equipment functionality
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 6 months acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently during low-traffic hours
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Physical stamina for 8-12 hour shifts
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
