Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend night shifts (Sat/Sun 10PM-6AM)
- Monitor vital signs, document patient status changes, and report abnormalities
- Assist with daily living activities including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing teams for coordinated care
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience (hospital/clinic setting ideal)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 2 weeks
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Reliable transportation for weekend shifts
- Background clearance and TB test required
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts during peak periods
