Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to clinical staff
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Administer medications under RN supervision per protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic records
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute care setting
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours with lifting up to 35 lbs
- BLS/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
