Responsibilities
- Lead Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities during the Saturday and Sunday night shift to ensure on-time delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct nightly safety audits to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Team Management: Mentor and train night shift staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and manage inventory accuracy during off-peak hours to prevent bottlenecks.
- Problem Solving: Quickly resolve operational issues and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Reporting: Generate and review daily performance reports to track productivity and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse machinery and vehicles are inspected and maintained correctly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management, preferably in a night shift setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and night shifts.
- License: Valid Driver's License required; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods during the night shift.
- Technology: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
