Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Perform vital signs and EKG screenings
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification
- BLS/CPR certification required (or obtainable within 30 days)
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays, 7am-7pm)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
