Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign measurements during weekend shifts
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient education and appointment scheduling
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and medical equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for weekend patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
