Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital sign checks and EKGs
- Draw blood samples and process laboratory specimens
- Manage patient electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Spanish bilingual preferred
- Available Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm)
