Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 7am-7pm)
- Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures and treatments
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems
- Administer injections, perform ECGs, and collect lab specimens
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environment
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts as needed
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
