Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic lab testsAdminister medications and injections as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentationPrepare exam rooms and sterilize equipmentProvide patient education on treatment plansCoordinate with nursing staff for seamless care deliveryHandle insurance verification and billing inquiries
Qualifications
- Current Florida Medical Assistant certification requiredMinimum 1 year clinical experience preferredBLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Strong knowledge of medical terminologyExperience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamAttention to detail and high level of organization
