Responsibilities
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems on weekends.
- Diagnose and repair facility issues, including minor carpentry and painting as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with all local Oakland regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from tenants or building management.
- Ensure all common areas and facilities are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman or Apprentice license (C-10, C-61, or C-61/C-20).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or residential maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Reliable transportation to the Oakland office.
