Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, ECG readings, and specimen collection
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility under RN supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Operate medical equipment including telemetry monitors and infusion pumps
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (must maintain current)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
