Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend event setup, execution, and breakdown across DC venues
- Manage vendor relationships and volunteer teams during weekend shifts
- Ensure seamless guest experiences at festivals, galas, and outdoor markets
- Handle inventory management and equipment logistics for weekend events
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Conduct post-event debriefs and quality assurance checks
- Maintain real-time communication with event stakeholders via mobile platforms
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years event coordination or hospitality experience
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for equipment transport)
- Proficiency in event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent)
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional customer service demeanor
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly during setup/breakdown
