Responsibilities
- Coordinate setup, execution, and breakdown of weekend events at downtown Chicago venues
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely arrival of services
- Oversee guest registration and provide exceptional on-site customer service
- Enforce safety protocols and troubleshoot operational issues during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations and compile detailed client reports
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote upcoming weekend activations
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 12 PM shifts)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for venue transfers
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of Chicago's event venues and logistics
