Responsibilities
- Coordinate setup and execution of weekend beach festivals and corporate events
- Manage vendor relationships and on-site logistics
- Lead volunteer teams during event operations
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and permits
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in real-time
- Conduct post-event analysis and reporting
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year event coordination or hospitality experience
- Availability Saturdays and Sundays (6am-10pm shifts)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Proficient in event management software
- Local Virginia Beach residency required
