Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend event setup, execution, and breakdown at various Tucson venues
- Manage vendor relationships and on-site logistics for weddings and corporate events
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving
- Suppose volunteer staff and maintain event safety protocols
- Track inventory and manage event materials between weekend assignments
- Create detailed event timelines and coordinate with venue managers
- Post-event reporting and client follow-up via Monday morning check-ins
Qualifications
- Previous event coordination or hospitality experience preferred
- Availability Saturdays and Sundays (flexible hours 8am-8pm)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with reliable transportation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor and indoor environments
- Basic knowledge of Tucson event venues and vendors
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
