Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering questions about products and services.
- Stock merchandise on shelves and racks, ensuring displays are visually appealing and organized.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing payments and handling cash responsibly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and processing new stock deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing the sales floor.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
