Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a welcoming attitude, answering inquiries and providing product recommendations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Restock merchandise, organize shelves, and ensure the store displays are visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all customers and staff.
- Handle cash and card transactions with strict attention to detail and adherence to company policy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
