Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a welcoming and professional attitude.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments with strict attention to detail and security.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the sales floor.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure stock levels are maintained and shelves are fully stocked.
- Resolve minor customer issues and escalate complex matters to the store manager.
Qualifications
- No prior retail or customer service experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
