Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications accurately under nurse supervision
- Maintain detailed and accurate resident care documentation
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) with dignity and respect
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent nursing home experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexibility to work both weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Pass background check and drug screening
