Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and assist them with finding specific products or services.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions and handle cash.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-organized.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by promptly cleaning spills and organizing areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing the stockroom during slower periods.
Qualifications
- Must be between the ages of 16 and 19 years old.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
