Responsibilities
- Greet Customers: Welcome shoppers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Stock & Display: Maintain product shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is priced and presented attractively.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting stock, performing cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe by sweeping, dusting, and organizing carts.
- Ring Registers: Operate point-of-sale systems accurately to process transactions and handle cash, checks, and digital payments.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required for entry-level positions.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) consistently.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor.
- Math Skills: Basic arithmetic skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
