As a Weekend Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly during peak weekend hours. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products, answering questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Inventory Management: Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and rotate stock to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash register operation and safe management (training provided).
- Merchandising: Display products according to company standards and promotional requirements.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and stockroom at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Experience: No prior retail or warehouse experience required; we value potential and attitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Basic Skills: Ability to perform basic math for transactions and operate a smartphone or computer.
