Responsibilities
- Architect carbon-negative technology roadmaps targeting 2026 commercialization
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams developing regenerative material science solutions
- Secure $10M+ in federal/state climate innovation grants and ESG investments
- Develop circular economy frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Author industry white papers on AI-driven climate modeling
- Present at global sustainability summits including COP32
- Oversee pilot programs for autonomous green infrastructure systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in sustainable engineering programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Technology, or equivalent field
- 8+ years in climate tech R&D with 3+ years at director level
- Proven track record securing $5M+ in climate innovation funding
- Expertise in circular economy principles and LCA methodologies
- Published author in peer-reviewed sustainability journals
- Proficiency in AI/ML for climate modeling (Python, TensorFlow)
- Deep knowledge of US climate policy frameworks (Inflation Reduction Act)
- Experience scaling green tech from lab to commercial deployment
