The Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and deliver results under tight deadlines. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of key infrastructure and technology projects, ensuring seamless integration across venues and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Project Governance: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation plans for stadium and venue upgrades.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for government bodies, sponsors, and international football federations.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with engineering, security, IT, and logistics teams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project KPIs, manage budgets, and conduct regular progress reviews to ensure on-time delivery.
- Crisis Management: Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen logistical or technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale construction, event operations, or government infrastructure projects.
- Certification: PMP, Prince2, or similar certification is required.
- Global Exposure: Proven track record of working in multicultural environments or managing international projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, or other advanced project management software.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-suite executives.
