Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, geopolitical shifts, and socioeconomic indicators to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and bio-convergence technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight research into product innovation roadmaps
- Produce executive-level trend reports with quantitative risk assessments and opportunity valuations
- Advise C-suite on strategic pivots, R&D prioritization, and talent acquisition for emerging domains
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Curate Horizon's annual FutureTech Summit showcasing breakthrough technologies and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing scenario-planning methodologies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Demonstrated experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption
