Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Design scenario-planning models to prepare for geopolitical, environmental, and technological disruptions
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and board members to drive strategic alignment
- Build and manage cross-functional innovation ecosystems including startups, academia, and industry partners
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and roadmaps with measurable KPIs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven decision making
- Track record of implementing future-focused strategies with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WF) preferred
