Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps with 5-year vision alignment for C-suite stakeholders
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios, risk assessments, and opportunity identification
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for exponential technology adoption and market disruption
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight into product development lifecycles
- Build and maintain relationships with global innovation hubs, academic institutions, and thought leaders
- Present future insights at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, foresight, or emerging technology roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model interconnected global systems
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method) required
- Published research in peer-reviewed futures or innovation journals
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ continents
