Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests under supervision
- Transport patients safely throughout the facility using proper equipment
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
