Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during night and weekend shifts, including vital sign checks and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures in a fast-paced urgent care setting
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow, triage, and appointment scheduling for after-hours services
- Perform lab tests, phlebotomy, and specimen processing with precision
- Deliver exceptional patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless 24/7 operations
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credentials
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and medical software
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with strong critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating night shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
