Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and stock organization to ensure seamless operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the night shift crew to meet daily operational goals.
- Load/Unload Freight: Handle the movement of goods with speed and accuracy to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse or logistics preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic English skills required for reading safety labels and communicating with supervisors.
