Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently load, unload, and sort packages using RF scanners and handheld devices to ensure accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date during the night shift.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems in compliance with all safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report any hazardous conditions immediately.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage during transit and prepare them for outbound shipping.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless handover of operations.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but training is provided for motivated candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and physical handling of goods.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
