Role Overview
The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse floor during evening and weekend hours. You will oversee inventory management, staff supervision, and quality assurance to ensure our clients receive their orders on time.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage all night shift operations, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to production schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA standards) to maintain a secure work environment for all staff.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, conducting shift briefings and performance reviews.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and oversee inbound/outbound shipping and receiving processes.
- Issue Resolution: Address operational issues immediately during the shift, escalating complex problems to upper management when necessary.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all machinery and safety equipment are in proper working order.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising or leading a team.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and nights (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
