Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently
- Perform ECG monitoring and basic diagnostic procedures as directed
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient care environments
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems
