Responsibilities
- Perform complex laboratory tests with precision and efficiency during night shifts
- Operate and maintain advanced diagnostic equipment following strict protocols
- Document and analyze test results while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality control initiatives and process improvements
- Train and mentor new technicians on night shift procedures
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA regulations in all laboratory operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification required
- Minimum 2 years of night shift lab experience
- Expertise in clinical chemistry, hematology, and microbiology
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Valid New York State laboratory technologist license
