Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient scheduling and billing inquiries
- Provide after-hours patient triage support
- Collaborate with night shift nursing team
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Indiana state BLS certification
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance
- Flexible availability for weekends/holidays
