Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during overnight shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient care between departments and overnight staff
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/clinic setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
