Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and vital sign monitoring during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with strict HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient care across departments during weekend rotations
- Assist in emergency procedures and trauma response
- Provide patient education on chronic conditions
- Manage inventory and supply chain for night shift operations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- BLS certification with willingness to obtain ACLS
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong knowledge of EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication skills for weekend patient handoffs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
