Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap development for 2026 technology initiatives, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Direct cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Drive innovation through competitive analysis, emerging tech evaluation (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech), and patent development
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through compelling stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, VCs, and industry leaders for tech acceleration
- Mentor talent pipeline through innovation workshops and thought leadership at global tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles, ideally with 2026-era tech experience
- Proven track record of launching scalable products or services generating $10M+ revenue
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI ethics, quantum applications, AR/VR integration, sustainable tech)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing $3M+ budgets and P&L responsibility
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 industry-disruptive projects launched in the past 5 years
