Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration
- Assist patients with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect
- Document patient records accurately using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Train and mentor new team members on clinical procedures
Qualifications
- Current CNA, EMT, or medical assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on patient care experience
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to maintain certification
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
