Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, social movements, and global megatrends through proprietary foresight methodologies
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026-2035 horizons across AI, biotech, climate resilience, and space exploration
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-readiness into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global forums (Davos, TED, Singularity)
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio funding moonshot projects
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and pattern recognition techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 7+ years foresight practice
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio of successful predictions required)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Mastery of foresight frameworks: Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 or government entities on strategic adaptation
- Fluency in trend visualization tools (Palantir, Tableau) and scenario modeling software
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ innovations successfully commercialized from foresight work
