Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with 3-5 year market impact projections
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives and revenue targets
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and C-suite stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs to access cutting-edge innovations
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and monitor implementation progress
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Proven track record of translating complex tech concepts into business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
- Experience with technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Toffler's Future Shock)
