Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technologies across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives and market opportunities
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for technological disruptions
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs
- Mentor cross-functional teams on technology adoption and innovation frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and developing long-term tech strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Experience with scenario planning, patent analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Strong data visualization and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented strategic initiatives
