Responsibilities
- Oversee all weekend shift operations including staff scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations during peak weekend hours
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain efficient workflow in receiving, storage, and shipping
- Resolve operational escalations and implement process improvements for weekend-specific challenges
- Conduct daily shift briefings and provide real-time performance feedback to team members
- Manage inventory accuracy and warehouse security during weekend operations
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors to ensure seamless operational continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehousing
- Proven ability to manage teams during high-pressure weekend shifts
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
