Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in weekend patient admissions and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Allied Health
- Current Massachusetts state license (RN, LPN, or CMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience with weekend shift exposure
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong electronic health record proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend schedules
