Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient education and medication instructions
- Handle appointment scheduling and follow-up communications
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
