Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care during weekend shifts, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and decisive intervention
- Maintain patient safety standards and infection control protocols
- Participate in weekend care coordination and discharge planning processes
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license with unrestricted status
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days)
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Valid Missouri driver's license for occasional off-site visits
