Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend warehouse and distribution operations for high-value retail clients
- Lead cross-functional teams of 5-7 associates during peak weekend hours
- Implement safety protocols and inventory management systems
- Process high-volume customer orders with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct weekend facility inspections and maintenance coordination
- Generate real-time performance reports for leadership review
- Train and onboard new weekend staff members
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics, warehousing, or operations management
- Proven leadership experience with weekend/holiday shifts
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently during low-traffic periods
- Chicago residency required for local emergency response
